Meeting schedule for 2017 – all regular meetings will be held from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds. $5 admin fee per student per class.

Hands-on activity: Planting trees (Donations from local nursery planted at Legion, Fairgrounds, etc)

Water Conservation Education: Preventing pollution in our Water

Hands-on activity: Building a watershed model

June 3, 2017

Conservation Opportunity:  Clean the Bay Day from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., includes collection of trash and debris from the waterway, weighing and counting collected items, reporting back to the Clean the Bay day organization. Location: along a waterway in Fauquier County

Ecology education: Turkey life cycle

Hands-on activity: How to make/use a turkey call

Giving back to the community/stewardship

Create thank you cards for sponsors, speakers, mentors, etc.

Wild game recipe exchange will also take place
